I just met a really wonderful guy a couple days ago on the online dating, and we have a date planned for Saturday!

It was a little awkward the first night because he went to bed without seeing my last message and responded to it early in the morning. Last night we actually said goodnight, and I haven’t exactly been waiting for a message from him, but I wasn’t sure if I should message him or it’s okay to wait until tomorrow if I don’t hear from him? I just wouldn’t want him to think I’m not putting any effort in and/or he decides to start swiping again. I’m very obviously overthinking this, but I’m just wondering what the healthiest approach to a new relationship dynamic is?

Btw, I prefer not to talk all day everyday, like others do but s h o u l d I have messaged him good morning, or s h o u l d I tonight? S h o u l D I just wait until he messages me?
