Dating my ex…
6 years together. 2 months apart and fully single broken up. We met up a week or so ago and again last night went for food and to the cinema. Was nice to hold hands and cuddle and that sorta stuff.
BUT… we lived together for 5 years and the idea of dating her again but not living with her and going to bed with her is kind of weird for me. I want more but just trying to go at her pace.
Has anyone else experienced the sort of slow return to dating someone who was once your everyday?
Anyone have any good recommendations to sweep my girl off her feet again?
It’s not like dating someone new where everything is fresh and easy. I can feel that this will require work.
In a way I should be grateful for the slow pace and measured approach. If we jumped back in too quickly I’d probably get more hurt.
TL:DR - giving it another go with my ex, overthinking it. I want it more. How do I quiet my mind and go at her pace?
