My boyfriend (M22) and I(F21) can’t seem to recover from a misunderstanding, how can we move forward?
Post Body

So my boyfriend and I have been together for 3 years and a few weeks. We got into an argument about two and a half years in to the relationship when he found out that I had been talking to one of his friends about the relationship. His friend liked me so it came off like I was interested in him. It caused a lot of tension for a long time. I apologized for not telling him about it and stopped talking to his friend but things didn’t feel the same afterwards. He is always tense about me having male friends and tends to get angry when I talk to a guy for over 20 minutes. It feels like he doesn’t trust me and it’s made me think maybe we aren’t as compatible as I thought. I’ve been indecisive about ending the relationship because I feel like I invested so much in it and he acts like there’s nothing wrong. Whenever we try to talk about things, I shut down because he doesn’t seem interested in trying to fix things. Is there a way for us to actually move forward?
