Myself 41F and guy 42M, we know each other through work but not super well. I messaged him first, out of the blue. We are both separated from our spouses. We've been talking for about 2 months.
I get the vibe he just isn't that into me but sometimes I read too much into situations. So I'm questioning if this is how communication works, considering I'm separated after 15 years with someone, I'm pretty new to this game.
I'm always (minus maybe once or twice) to message first. He does reply and keep the conversation mostly going but he rarely asks me questions. I'll be ready to throw the towel in and then it will seem like he is actually interested by trying to get together. But then that gets cancelled last minute by him. It's been 2 months and I'm exhausted. But I'm super attracted to him 🥴.
Is this how men communicate or is the writing on the wall for me?
TLDR- He never initiates contact. Seems like he isn't that into me? I'm so behind the times in talking to guys.
