Night owl 20-M bf, morning person 20-F gf , am i really the problem?
Post Body

Hi, everyone! I’m looking for some advice because I’m feeling a bit lost about a situation with my boyfriend.

For context, we're both students. I’m a morning person—I usually go to bed early and wake up early to start my day. Meanwhile, my boyfriend is a night owl. He often stays up late playing online games and usually wakes up around 2 or 3 p.m., sometimes even later. This has been our routine for a while, but lately, it’s been bothering me more and more.

Because of our different schedules, we only get to spend time together in the afternoon. But even then, it feels limited since he still has chores to do or other things to catch up on after he wakes up.

Meanwhile, I’ve been up and waiting for him the whole morning, which leaves me feeling frustrated. I love him a lot, but it’s starting to feel like we don’t have enough quality time together even though we're like this in the beginning because of this difference in our routines. I’m not sure how to approach this. I don’t want to make him feel bad or ask him to change his habits entirely, but I can’t help but feel disappointed that our time together feels so restricted. I guess I’m just looking for advice on how others have handled similar situations or if anyone has tips on navigating this kind of issue in a relationship.
