I'm in a delicate situation that I cannot seem to work out for myself and need some helpful suggestions please. I am 55-year-old year old disabled women living on a pension and unable to work. The relationship I have with my live in partner is over and should be ended now, but I cannot ask him to leave because I can't financially afford to live alone. We only have a one-bedroom flat so getting someone else in to share with isn't an option and with the hike in rental prices, I cannot afford what's being advertised as shared accommodation. I feel as though I've painted myself into a financial corner but can only say that my situation has changed very unexpectedly over the past few years. Given that I have neither friends or family to turn to, I'm not sure how to break free of this situation.
