My ex-girlfriend (F42) and I (M52) ended our two-year relationship about a year ago and had no contact for several months after the breakup.
A few weeks ago, she unexpectedly reached out to say hi. I replied out of courtesy, and since then, we've been chatting regularly and even had a couple of phone calls.
Our chemistry has always been off the charts, especially in terms of intimacy. We agreed to rekindle that aspect of our connection, with a no-strings-attached arrangement. Neither of us is currently looking for a committed relationship, and we've set clear boundaries: no intimacy with others, and if either of us wants to change that, we'll inform each other beforehand.
I'm curious if anyone else has had a similar arrangement. How did it work out for you?
