My boyfriend has started playing video games a lot, i think over 50 hours a week. I've tried talking to him about it a couple times recently but it isn't changing he doesn'tseem to care. I feel like it's the only thing that makes him happy.
He stared playing this often about 2 months ago when we had a big fight and split up about a week. So it's been since he has come back home this has started. How is the best way to talk to him where i don't sound judgmental and that he might actually listen?
I don't think there is anything wrong with playing video games but it seems like way too much. If he is home, it's playing video games or watching YouTube. We haven't been talking or hanging out much either. I just don't know how to get him to listen to me and see this is a problem. I haven't pushed it much bc I was hoping it was a short term thing but we're going on 2 full months at this point.
I know he's been feeling overwhelmed and anxious so I don't want to make it worse.
