I was scrolling through my instagram reels feed and I come across a post that has a couple sitting on a couch doing an interview where the girl interrupts him and then starts crying, he gets angry at her both times. I agree that being interrupted is annoying and I don't have a problem with that, what I have a problem with is the text on the post (not the caption, right next to the video on screen) said "POV: You're in that hating your girlfriend stage" and when I looked down I saw that my boyfriend had it liked. This upset me, so I sent him a photo of it with a question mark and all he said was "REAL" as in "that's so real." which hurt me even further, I know he was joking, but still. So I called him and told him that it hurt and asked him if he really felt that way, to which he apologized but brushed me off saying it was a "joke" and that he isn't going to "go into this" with me. Granted, I do have some insecurity issues, but I feel like it being my own unfounded issue in this case, it was something he did. Even if it is a joke, it really hurt my feelings but maybe I'm overreacting. We are also moving in together next month, so the concept of "hating your gf" when we are so close to a very big step in our relationship makes me very anxious. Idk.
