Broke up over long term plans but got back together, how to move on? 45F 34M
Post Body

I've already described our situation in r/breakup. We work together, as do both of his parents, and we have same group of friends. We got together 2 years ago on a business trip, and both agreed to continue to meet and see where it takes us, but to keep our relationship private not to disturb our social connections at work. No matter the secret nature of our relationship, things were fine up until couple of weeks ago when, after a stupid little fight over something unimportant, he told me he was thinking about our relationship long term and decided he wanted to start a family and have kids. He said he's aware because of my age that might not be possible and suggested we break up.
I was heartbroken. I needed closure so i invited him to have a conversation last week. He was broken too, right as he entered my apartment, we hugged and cried, had an honest conversation, and I told him how I felt about everything, I don't want to lose him, and that I feel like he's telling me one thing but acts like he still has a lot of feelings for me. He told me he doesn't want us to break up either, and we got back together. I was so happy for the first day or two, but this bad feeling is coming back, we met again yesterday and I didn't feel the peace of mind I usually have around him, actually it was the opposite. I don't have any friends to talk to and my therapist thinks he's under social pressure maybe frim his parents to settle down and have kids, more than it being his own wish. Feels like so much is against us... Is there a chance this will end good for us, any happy ending stories?
