So, I was scrolling through TikTok one day and came across a girl who’s only about a year or two older than me. She really caught my attention, so I decided to follow her and then DM her on Instagram. To be honest, she’s absolutely stunning, and after chatting for a while, I realised she’s literally my type to a T. The connection felt strong right from the start, and I’ve got to admit, I haven’t felt this way about anyone in a long time.

For context, I haven’t had a real relationship in about 3.5 years. In that time, I’ve met people here and there, but no one has really come close to what I had in the past… until now. This girl lives about 190 miles away from me, which isn’t exactly a quick trip. I’ve been thinking about whether it’s worth continuing this because the travel costs alone would be around £80 by car, and the train might even be more expensive.

Part of me is really tempted to see where this could go, but I can’t help but wonder: is it worth pursuing something that involves such a distance, especially with the travel costs being what they are? I don’t want to get too ahead of myself, but this is probably the second time in my life I’ve been genuinely blown away by someone, and it’s making me reconsider whether I should just go for it.
