My bf (30M) has this friend from high school (also 30M) who is loosely part of his friend group. He is actually really nice. His fiancee (29F) is a bitch and has never liked me (not that I care and not that I have ever made efforts to get to know her) and I think I have met her in a group setting MAYBE 3 times. During a friends get together the friend was hosting, the fiancee went up to my bf and basically said “how is SHEEE” making a face and using a tone (asking about me). The last i heard about her, she was opening talking crap about me at a wedding I didnt attend. My bf said if she wasnt a girl he would have smacked her haha and then he commented back “really great actually she didnt ask about you though” and then got up and said bye to friends and left. He got home and we immediately RSVP’ed no to her wedding haha but also, do you ignore this, shes pretty easy to avoid but also shes loosely part of his inner circle of some of the other girls I’m friends with and I dont want to deal with her. Safe to say she will be around especially bc shes marrying one of the guys. I barely hang out with the girls anyway bc they are vapid and annoying. How do you deal with petty significant others of friends? Would it come across as really rude or careless if I just didnt go to things but my bf went bc they are his friends?
