So my boyfriend and I have been together 7 months. Friends for nearly a year. And he won’t talk to me about his past, or issues. But before we got together he would talk to his girl best mates about it. I don’t know how to feel, I understand he might find it hard, but why can you talk to your best mate about shit but not your own girlfriend? I’ve told him everything about me. I’ve had a rough childhood. I sit there and cry about it. And all he says is “oh” and stuff like that! I tried to talk to him about it, and he just says “because they was there at the time” okay….but I’m here now. I’ve never been in a relationship where I don’t know their past, or their issues. I use to literally sob and breakdown with my ex about our past (it was pretty similar) and personally me and him both crying about it helped me in a way, now I cry on my own. I just find it hard when I see messages from his girl best mate saying “I know stuff about you no one does” it’s like a stab in the heart. I’ve always assumed there was something between them, but they both deny it. Idek what to do anymore. Am I overthinking this? Or will it become more of an issue later on?🤦🏼♀️
