TLDR: I'm an 18-year-old girl who recently started talking to a 19-year-old guy after getting his social media from my best friend's boyfriend, though he doesn't know that. We had good conversations for about two weeks, but after unexpectedly meeting him in person for the first time today, he hasn't replied to my texts at all. I'm wondering if I should wait for him to respond or send another message, and I'm unsure why he suddenly stopped replying after we met.
I’m an 18-year-old girl who recently started talking to a 19-year-old guy. We were introduced in a bit of a roundabout way—my best friend’s boyfriend gave me his social media info, thinking we might hit it off, but the guy doesn’t know that’s how I got his details. We’ve been talking for about two weeks now, and while we're just friends at the moment, I have developed an interest in him, though I haven’t made that clear to him yet. Our conversations have been really enjoyable, with lots of good banter, and we seem to have a fun and natural connection when chatting online.
Today, I unexpectedly ran into him in person for the first time. We hadn’t planned to meet up; it just happened by chance. After this encounter, he suddenly stopped responding to my texts and hasn't messaged me back at all since we met, and it's been almost a full day now. I’m feeling pretty confused and unsure about what to do next. Should I wait for him to message me back, or is it okay to send him another text? I’m also trying to figure out why he might not have replied after seeing me in person. Could something have changed after our in-person meeting? Any advice on what to do next or what might be going on? I was hoping this would blossom into something more but now i feel like i’ve been a bit delusional, I can’t seem to understand why he would stop replying today of all days after being consistent with his replies since we started talking. Before anyone suggests, i’m not unattractive in any way, and have been constantly described as attractive, i’ve never had this issue with men i’ve previously been talking to and im wondering what could have caused this response from him?
