Me and my gf have been in our first “true love” relationship for 9 months. But after a lot of problems between us and her not wanting to change at the cost of my mental health it feels like ive lost feelings for her. I feel oddly calm and happy? I feel a bit guilty about that to be honest. I love her, like a lot. But not in a romantic way anymore. More like a close friend. I really do wish her the best and want to make sure shes fine after the breakup. But how should i approach the break up? When and how should i tell her? She seems to also have been loosing feelings for me so i hope she wont take it too bad. Are there any other tips like how to make it the least ammount of painful when i break the news?
TLDR: lost feelings but hope to not get on bad terms after breakup
