I'm 26 M poly and in general pretty transparent and communicative. I'm selective in my partners since being poly is a red flag for many people and a lot of folks think that poly means fuck boi. However; I keep running into people who are horny and into the same things I am but they struggle with actually dating. Or I date and end up being really attracted to someone who treats me the way I want to be treated and then their desires aren't aligned with me. They text me later that it's not working so how can I be authentic and transparent without running into these two scenarios?

Why is physical touch and quality time so hard on new connections when it feels bubbly for me?
