I (35M) lied to my gf (41F) about my driving exam and now she said she doesn't trust me with anything. How do I fix this?
Post Body

Driving has been a big challenge for me, for whatever reason I have no talent in learning driving. I failed my first one a year ago and I did do more lessons after. My gf wanted me to pass and she would keep encouraging me to keep going. However she has this image of me of being good at everything so to live up to that expectation I told her that I went for a second exam and said that I failed. Even tho in reality my instructor said that I am not ready and I have been very put off by it that the second one has never taken place. She now thinks that she cannot trust me with anything anymore because of her previous relationships of being lied to. I never cheated on her or anything like that because I love her. She has blocked me out because she thinks she cannot trust me. What should I do to fix it? I was planning to write her a letter explaining and apologizing.
