Im 28M and my partner is 32F. Here is the background. We met online 2 years ago and we just hit it off. We met in person about 2 months ago. I was there for about 3 weeks and we both concluded that we wanted to be together. So I proposed and everything. But since then we have been having disagreements. In regard to having friends of the opposite sex. Clarification: friends who currently or have previously had romantic feelings for her. We both have an open phone policy. More often than not some guy will message her romantically. She always tells me about it and shows me the messages. And there is no clear evidence that she is provoking this behavior from them. But when I ask her to block them she is hesitant to remove them as friends. What bothers me most is she just so happened to be taking a vacation to his country and I ask if they will meet she says yes. I’ve expressed to her that I feel uncomfortable about the situation but she tries to reinsure me that nothing will happen. She has a daughter who is 16 so I figured that she would be more mature. What should I do? What do you think?
