Girlfriend (29F) is getting really upset at me for not telling her when I (29M) leave work
Post Body

So here’s the gist of what’s going on. My girlfriend gets really mad and upset at me and becomes very passive aggressive in the way she communicates with me when I don’t inform her when I’m off work or really leaving anywhere. This doesn’t happen often I normally call her on the way home and we speak when we’re driving. Now keep in mind. I can’t normally do this when I ride my motorcycle. Sometimes I do just to keep her happy but even the my headset in my helmet doesn’t block out the air all the way so i struggle to hear her. When I ask her to repeat herself she gets very upset with me and becomes very agitated, her respondes become very snippy and hostile….soo now When I don’t tell her, she becomes very short bland and won’t tell me what’s going on. This is normally happens when something is bugging her. She just completely shut down. I do try to ask her what’s going on without pestering and nagging but then when I don’t bug her a lot, she says that I don’t care. I personally think it comes from a sense of insecurity. She’s not the type to tell that too because when I give her my two cents she gets really upset and feels like I’m attacking her.

I’ve been confronted many times about cheating because I’m not on my phone, I take to long to respond. (In my mind I feel like I’m old so I try to stay off social media, and kind treat my phone like it’s whatever. If it’s important someone can call me for my immediate attention)

So people of Reddit. What’s your take on the situation?
