Me and my girlfriend have been together for almost a year now and shes just slowly becoming a bit more distant and short with me nowadays. I finally brought it up and we will talk more about it in person I just would love some advice on how to handle the situation.
A little bit about us, we almost never fight, we hang out a lot and are intimate. I try fairly hard but maybe i should try harder. Sometimes i feel as though she doesn’t try that much, but i still love her all the same. Certain things that she has done that wouldnt bug me now come across as if she doesnt truly love me. Why must i always initiate sex? Or reach for her hand to hold? Maybe she thinks thats what the guy ought to do? But its nice to feel wanted instead of always initiating the ‘want’.
We love each other and talk about living together shortly, possible engagements, her wanting my babies. But im not sure she feels that way as much anymore… when i say those things im truthful…
Either way, i dont think our relationship is lost, I just want to rekindle it while being honest about how I feel and also having the appropriate mindset to fixing what might have gotten lost.
