I've met a guy online who openly admitted of being in an open relationship and am honestly shock about how healthy it seems to be. We had two sex meetups yet, both consisting out of talking before and after and therefore gained some insides on their relationship and am certain of him truly loving his partner. Especially due to him mentioning him regularly in the nicest way possible. He's the first person I've such a relationship with and pray I won't develop any feeling because there's really no way of it working out I'd feel horrible for being the reason their relationship failed. His partner knows about it but according to him but doesn't care as long he isn't directly witnessing it. I guess there's the possibility he doesn't actually know about it but I believe him for some reason.
Were or are you currently in an open relationship and what are you experiences with it? I'm young, so I feel like I'm in the wrong to bash about my failed past relationships but one of them ended due to my boyfriend secretly cheating on me. He is an asshole, don't get me wrong but maybe considering open relationships in the future, with both parties openly talking about it is a good alternative to handle things? As of now I can't assess on how jealous I could end up.
