For context, my friend (wont say name) was raped yesterday. They told me and I felt so useless in the moment.
We hang out constantly, hell today we hung out for the whole day, and Im glad I could in some way, but I feel like im failing them. Truth is, im scared. Im so tired of cruel people hurting the innocent, and even though they try their hardest not to seem phased by this, I know they are. This is the third time its happened to them, the third fucking time.
I want to be there for them, but Im scared im pushing them away. If you need more context feel free to comment, Im just so hurt and so lost and have no idea what to do.
Please, help me understand. Please.
