We are about to hit 6 months and it’s been going really well. We had a few bumps in the road and we worked together to fix it. We’re both still in college and we’re looking for career jobs when we finish college. I read an article on when it comes to 6 months you should start to think about whether it’s serious or not. We’ll fit me I’m a date to marry fella and she wasn’t at first. Recently this month we talked about long term and she’s all for it and i was too. But yet our recent argument stood a place into it. I live in a home where it’s always clean and everyone picks up after themselves and such, hers it’s a disaster, including her room, bathroom everywhere. The first time i came over her house i was a bit disgusted but i got used to it. I tried cleaning up a lil bit here and there but she’d stop me. I get it it’s not my house but still… . She then says she only cleans yearly … once per year. Like what?! And i told her that’s unhealthy and she got offended. Personally that’s a dealbreaker for me if my partner doesn’t pick up after themselves at all and cleans yearly, i don’t want to leave the relationship because it’s going so well and we love each other.

She was offered a full time job in the city and she complains to me that she doesn’t want to work full time and wear nice clothes “it’s too much work”. Yet i told her the truth about the world and that’s how life is. You can’t live freely and expect money to just magically appear into your account. Which brings me to say it’s not looking good long term and i don’t want my partner to be a couch potato for the rest of their life yet she’s only 20y.

Also we going to see 3 awesome concerts next month who we both love.

Any advice, experiences? Would you break up?
