Lets call ex Violet and my friend Ivan.

I am on the process of trying to get back with my ex and I gave some conditions that I want and I told him about the trip that I booked with my friend. He is now mad at me that I am having an out of country travel with Ivan.

So one of the only reason why Violet doesn’t want me to travel with Ivan is because Ivan and I met through a dating app and we had a short period of talking. I explained to Violet that Ivan is just a friend now and he can trust me that nothing will happen with us.

I am now stuck between choosing my ex or my friend.

Since a lot of you would also ask why we broke up, here it is. Violet cheated on me by sleeping with his ex-hookup. One of the reason he gave me on why he did it is because he said I was being controlling and he felt like he couldn’t breathe in our relationship. I know I have some controlling tendencies in a relationship but he could’ve talked me out of it but instead he chose to bring damage to our relationship.

Do I choose a relationship with my ex or do I choose to save my friendship and go on that trip?
