To keep it short, my gf and I have been together for close to 4 years and are very serious about our relationship.. my gf made a new friend that I didn’t like because the influence and tons of shady stuff started happening when she became friends with this person. I expressed that and we both agreed it was jeapardizing our relationship. So at that point I thought she was done with this person. But I was wrong. Today I saw her texting with someone and it was this person. Saying “hey you still going? If so I’m about to go.” I chose to confront her about it and her response was “I was trying to see when she would be there so I could avoid her” and completely disregarded how that would make me upset. She was stuck in the fact that “she’s not gonna be there” while I’m not upset at the fact she gonna be there with this person more so the way she reacted to me confronting her. It was like I was terrible for calling her out. Im terrible with communication so I kinda stonewalled at this point cause it’s hard to think that it’s not obvious why I’m upset. I feel like whenever I express myself with genuine reasons I get gas light and basically feel like I’m wrong.
