Looking for advice: relationship changing to long distance.

Howdy y'all! I currently have 2 partners: my husband and my boyfriend. Boyfriend just decided rather abruptly to move from CA back to Maryland where his family is. Anyone who has had success transitioning to long distance with a partner, I'd love to hear your advice. I'm guessing a lot more texting and video calls will help stay connected. We're also trying to plan a trip to Sedona once it's not so cold at night anymore.
