TLDR: Newly re-opened relationship, how bad of a time am I going to have on the dating scene?
My partner and I have recently decided to open our relationship up again after several years of being monogamous. We actually met on a dating site (OKC) and at the time she was married and I became her secondary partner. They eventually split and then we got married. (Side note: Everything is cool. We all get along fantastically and do family stuff together, holidays, coparent the kids, game nights. The whole nine.)
Now we’re opening up our relationship and I am just curious what to expect my experience to be like. I know I’m running at a deficit being a) male and b) already in a committed relationship.
Edit: I am pansexual, not sure if that will make things better or more complicated.
Edit 2: I should’ve mentioned that I am 39. Also a factor that maybe counteracts the pan thing. :/
Edit 3: Thank you everyone for the support, encouragement, and info. Please feel free to drop me a message if you want to talk more about anything. I could always use more friends :)
