Rant: Paying for likes = corporate hypocrisy
Post Body

I downloaded Bumble and I ran out of likes. The message says, "Like limits encourage thoughtful swiping. More likes are coming soon, or you can upgrade to get more now."

Do the developers not realize how hypocritical and tone deaf they are? They want thoughtful swiping, unless you give them money. Then that philosophy sails out the window. 🙄

If you're going to feed me that line, don't allow purchasing unlimited likes.

Thank you for listening to me vent.

EDIT: I am not saying dating apps should be free. I don't think they should tell you that they limit likes to create a better environment, then let people buy unlimited likes, which undermines the experience they want to create.
