Does it piss anyone else off that, when booking hotel rooms, having three or more people lock you out of King Bed rooms and only give you the choice of 2 or more Queen beds?

Post Body
Trying to book a resort hotel room for my two partners and our two kids, and it won't let me choose rooms with a King Bed, a Twin and a sofa sleeper. Says I have too many adults.
Such bullshit.
EDIT: everyone says it's occupancy limits based on fire code makes a lot of sense. Thanks for setting me straight.
