What was a hard phase you worked through and were happy you did?

I have always been one to walk away from tough situations. Whether it be a friend or relative or partner… i walk away. I’d really like to hear some stories from other poly folk of a sticky situation that you sorted out. I think it’s about time I change, and stick around to work shit out.
