Anyone ever try out an Alaska King bed? Is it worth the price?

I just became aware of this wonderfully giant bed size (9ā x 9ā) after looking into options of combining mattress to expand sleeping space. Iām curious if anyone here has experience of this and if it is worth the added cost/fewer options compared to doubling up on queens or something?
