You know what the biggest problem i have with my personal Mono/Poly marriage is? Most of the potentials I meet, either are more interested in my anti-social mono Wifey, or they are intimidated by the fact that she has no interest in my partners outside of their effect on me.

To be honest, it's a very small issue, as the number of potentials available to me anymore has decreased significantly. But on the rare occasions that a potential if found, it's a bit frustrating. To be clear though, I do not hold any of this against my Wife, nor do I have any expectations for her to make any accommodations for it.

I date separately from my Wife and am not looking for a "unicorn" in any way. So, while I would love it if my partners could be friends or at the very least friendly, it's not really needed. So why the hell does everyone I meet get hung up on my Wife? Aside from being my Wife and NP and thus caring about me and my well being, she has nothing to do with my relationships!

It's just so damned frustrating.
