Make half of married poly couple. Married 19 years, 9 of that open, 3 years of that 9 poly.

My question is not “are we poly or not, “ but more about how you dealing with your partners partners.

My wife has a type, and that type is the total opposite of me. I’m talking really good looking, super in shape, muscular. I’m not ugly, lol, but I’m overweight and def don’t have the muscles. She doesn’t date guys like me, or even what I would call average guys.

It’s hard dealing with that. I have a hard time not comparing myself to them. In the end I am comfortable with our relationship and believe that her relationships don’t affect ours. It’s just rough for me to deal with when she’s out with these great looking guys, and then has to come home to me.

In the end, maybe this isnt a poly issue, but someone has to have these types of experiences?
