Hey everyone!

So, I am on my way to see my NP after spending a week with my other partner. We had several long conversations during our time together and things about my meta’s past came up that I am having trouble reconciling with.

Apparently in his past, he groped his wife sister (he was 21 and the sister was 17) as well as verbally abusive and threw things. Now, he has not done this to my partner. However, due to things going on, she has isolated herself, blown through her savings and hasn’t been to work in 6 months. They started dating in August and been engaged since January. From what she has told me, her main reasons of getting married are to appease her family and have a child.

With all of this, how can I best support her when I see red flags like this?
