Advice on not getting attached too quickly?
Post Body

I truly hate dating, hate small talk and the getting to know you basic questions phase. So when I come across someone that I seem to click with instantly, when the conversation isn’t superficial and I find myself giddy to hear from them, I can feel myself getting attached quickly.

I had the same issue when I was mono, but it feels so much more intense with poly, maybe because I can feel myself growing attached to multiple people at a time.

I get my hopes up so quickly, and more often than not I’m let down. I just don’t know HOW to not be this way.
