Just want to throw a big thank you this sub. Sometimes it’s hard to find relevant dating advice in mainstream channels, and y’all helped solve a (relatively minor) problem in my relationship.

Solutions and outcome: Turns out the main problem was that I wear non-aluminum deodorant (not a proper anti-perspirant.) Specifically, I was wearing Lume lavender to bed and, apparently, it can have an off-putting odor when first applied and when sweated off. I also trimmed my armpit hair to hold less scent and allow deeper contact for the anti-perspirant.
I found that my favorite Every Man Jack sandalwood now comes with a Aluminum Chlorhydrate option. My meta complimented the masculine scent, snuggled me closer than ever before when we shared a bed, and seems to enjoy hugs more now, too. She knows I’m a bit of a hippy and said she assumed I might wear natural deodorants when this issue first came up in her head.
Additionally, gf and I immediately strip blankets after a squirty, steamy session. We’ve just made it a point to keep the laundry train going during days I’m over, and be prompt about it. An added bonus is that she’ll wash and fold my clothes to repack, which also plays nicely into our dom/sub dynamic and I always find those acts of service very lovely and sexy.
In return, I wash all the sex toys and remake the bed before we get in the shower. I think I’ll ad picking out an outfit for her to this task list, too, cuz I know she enjoys when I do that.
Awaiting results from some hormone tests, but my doc said previous tests did not indicate any problems there.
