Just like the title says, it's official for me. I'm hanging up the hat... As a married man, it's just impossible to find a partner who is interested in an actual relationship in my experience so far.

The mixers lead to great conversations but end up ghosted shortly after. Space Invaders, hacienda, hit me up, munches, speed dates, picnics, discords and even what's app groups. I'm not a shy guy either...

The apps (don't get me started on the apps) are just that - terrible and full of bots.

After two years of really bad dates, two decent ones that led to nothing and one failed short relationship (just weren't compatible) I'm taking a winter hiatus for it all. You would think that living in NYC there would be so many opportunities to meet folks but that's really not true.

I knew it would be difficult, but honestly didn't expect it to be this hard...

Just venting and wondering if the spring of 2025 will be any different.
