How Do You Describe Your Relationship to Strangers/People You Just Met?

Hello! V-Poly (the hinge) for almost 5 years now. Married to one of my partners and hand fasted to my other. Curious when someone asks the question “Are you Married?” Or “Are you single”? How do you answer? Without over sharing everything about your life?

Circumstance depending, I may just talk about either my husband or my partner, but with stigma or it’s none of their business, what would be a more appropriate way to answer their question without feeling like I’m “lying” about my life if I only mention one partner or not?
