I had a phone date with someone recently, and while they are very nice and kind, I just wasn’t feeling it. This was my first time attempting to date another person while in a relationship with my partner, and for some reason, idk how to let someone down gently with polyamory thrown in.
Typical phrases I would use in monogamist relationships for some reason escape me, since I didn’t do much rejecting any way. And now for some reason, it feels more complicated? Idk. Maybe I’m overthinking it.
I feel like “this isn’t what I’m looking for” sounds empty, because I’m not looking for anything specific with other people right now, I’m trying to be open to all things to see how this all works.
Now I’m rambling. lol.
