I attended a party with my NP and their new-ish partner for the first time. My NP asked me before the party what I’d be okay with seeing, and I said since it was the first time, I’m okay with them hugging as much as they want, but I’m not sure I’m ready to see them kiss and cuddle yet. My partner understood and said they could uphold that agreement. Later on in the evening, I was talking to my meta and my NP went up and kissed them. Shortly after, they went to sit between his legs and spent a bit of time there while I was off to the side. I was really hurt by this because even though maybe I should get over it, I feel like an agreement was violated. Am I overreacting?
