Hi everyone, I’ve been lurking here for a short while and my current situation has prompted me to ask for advice.

This year, I’ve joined various queer communities that have meant that my exposure to poly people had increased dramatically. I’ve been contemplating exploring ENM for a while and recently I met this person at an event and we really hit it off. It’s only been a couple weeks and I am crushing hard.

I’ve known that she’s poly from the start and she has a couple committed partners. We’re on the same page in terms of just vibing and seeing where it goes but I’m a bit worried about experiencing intense jealousy and heartbreak if things were to progress. Part of me is wondering whether it would be better to stop now but I also really want to explore this new connection.
