Hello! I [f28] was vetoed out of a fwb relationship with a [m27] yesterday. We had only been talking for a few weeks, and met up twice for dates. I am not sure what caused it, but him and his gf said they decided not to be open anymore a few days after we had sex. Since they are long distance and I assume she was jealous. I am just in my feelings and feeling sad about the lost friend, because I felt like we could’ve had a really good connection. I’m very tempted to try and reach out again and ask what had caused them to come to this decision, but I know I should just let it go. He said it was not because of anything I did but I can’t help feeling bad. Anyone want to give me advice?
Update: I did message him and he actually replied and assured me it wasn’t anything I had said (I had expressed that I was excited to meet her, and that I felt that we could have a good connection the day before), he said they basically just don’t have the energy to commit to a relationship rn outside of theirs. Which is kinda shitty but makes me feel way better honestly lol.
