Hey poly community. I think I might be in a poly Situationship or what is equal partners? Person I’ve been dating says they’re in love but want to stay solo poly and “unattached” because it’s easier for him to date women that way. But he reaches out to me (and not other partners) for emotional fulfillment and says he loves me… but also doesn’t see us moving into a partnership because I’m married and he feels like we won’t be equal partners. In my mind, and as I’ve communicated, a 10 year relationship/ marriage and a 5 month dating thing can’t be equal partnerships, it’s kind of impossible?

Am I holding back emotionally! Am I. Stuck in a situationship? Is that even a thing in the poly world? Thoughts?
