When and how to butt into a relationship?

Is there any way to comment ony meta's behavior and their and our hinge's relationship?

My partner (Aspen, 28 NB) and my meta (Birch, 31F) have been together for nearly 2 years. I don't get along great with Birch, and have let Aspen know over the years that I'm not interested in much of a friendship with Birch, due to their behavior, personality, and attitude.

Lately, Aspen and Birch have been having issues regarding scheduling, time management, and Birch not feeling welcome in the polycule. And most recently, Birch had a major social faux pas at one of Aspen's family gatherings. So now, Aspen's aunt has been expressing that they don't care for Birch being around, and Birch had been expressing to Aspen, that they no longer wish to attend family events, due to the unwelcoming atmosphere.

Aspen hasn't come to me about the issue, they've been confiding in a mutual partner, who has been confiding in me, so it's not even my thing to deal with. But it is an issue to the point that Aspen is insanely anxious about it 24/7, losing sleep, and worried to confide in me, probably because they know my stance on Birch.

In my head, the signs are clear that things aren't working out with Birch, and they are pretty incompatible with Aspen in most things except for kink. So is there any reasonable way for me to bring up that things don't look great to me? Is this something I just keep my mouth shut on?

Aside from that, how do you comfort a partner that's going through a hard time, but not communicating with you about it?

Offering to hear out the issues and be vented to isn't something I'm willing to do when it's about this meta, since I'm already biased against her. And I feel like a "I'm here if you need me" is pretty empty and unhelpful. Offering more time with or without me doesn't mean much either, because we nest, but I've made it clear that default time is exactly that, anything outside of specifically planned dates is free time that Aspen can spend wherever, doing whatever.

If anyone has any ideas, I'm open to them, because I love Aspen and want what's best for them, and right now I have no idea how to help, but they are obviously in a state of extreme distress and I hate that for them.
