So my husband and I have finally shifted from just open to full poly. And we're both very happy about it. He made a connection with a friend who is long distance, and she came out to see him this last week. It was the first time he's been intimate with someone other than me in 9 years. They had two days together and when he got home we had an awesome talk about it. I could tell he was tired but animated and excited, and he said he wanted to move into poly and have her be his girlfriend. Which I was delighted by, as I prefer poly over open anyways. He has gone through a journey where he's realized he's bisexual, and so he now has me (a very masc trans guy) and a girlfriend who is very very feminine. He loves having both, and honestly both of our mental health has improved since opening the relationship. He's feeling more confident, as am I. And our relationship and sex life has only gotten better since we did. I honestly never believed he would be so happy in a poly dynamic but he's really thriving and I'm over the moon about it. I figured I would share a bit of joy, as in my last post things were a lot more rigid and new.
