A few months ago, I broke up with a man who reluctantly obeyed my stated boundaries but flagrantly disrespected them in the empty space between words. I put up with it so long because the BDSM was fire, so much so that I’m considering swearing off BDSM because when the kink is good, I tend to stay longer with problem partners.

The break up actually led to physical illness and ultimately, a subsequent spiritual awakening, WTF! I’m better now but I’ve been very closed to new connections until I get better at protecting my energy.
