M24 here dating my 26f for over a year now planning to propose in the next two years or so once career and finances are in place! she was always bi from the start and was never an issue with me and I was always straight monogamous but Now we’ve joked about a poly relationship with a mutual friend (29f from another state:/, we both feel comfortable with her and have had a huge crush on her for quite some time now. This friend is already poly single and jokes about trying a relationship with us as well, so I’m trying to read the room and not only assume this but go off facts or hints she’s left us🤣😭 and to get the courage to have a open conversation about it once we’re all together in a couple weeks.. I’ve talked to my girlfriend about it a couple times and am waiting for a solid decision from her once I get that I am going to ask our friend for the time to talk about it but I’m so scared of ruining or relationship with her if she isn’t on the same page. Is it wrong of me to ask our friend if she’s actually willing to try something more? To me it’s not all about sex life.. I’ve never even had a three sum before so it actually really intimidates me!! This to me is about having a truly loving and compassionate relationship with both the amazing women who mean the most to me..
