Not necessarily poly specific but I think this group could offer good insight.

I've been seeing my partner Cedar for just over a year now. We have a good relationship but recently he's made some comments and I'm feeling odd about them.

1st comment was about my partner Maple. They recently went through a breakup. Cedar commented they thought Maple should reconsider the relationship and try to make it work as they deserve to be happy. I could say a few things about this but what ruffled my feathers most was the feeling he would like to take Maple's place in my life.

2nd comment was made this weekend just casually chatting and he says "If you were straight I'd marry you". Whoa ⚠️ I addressed the fact that I don't want to get married. Something we discussed very early on. However how do you even address a comment like that?!

Other than "Good thing I'm not straight " lol.
