Post Body

So I'm making this post to ask for people's advice and thoughts on this issue.

I started seeing a new partner in September we'll call her Willow. Willow has three other partners one of which she nests with and has kids with. For the last three and a half months stuff has been pretty awesome, we live a few hours apart so we would talk through chatter video almost every day and see each other a couple of times a month. Fast forward to mid-December she gets a new job and promptly loses it in a week because her supervisor just does not like her and it seems to crush her. Since she's lost her job she has barely been in communication, I've went up to visit her and she seemed happy to see me but also very distant. Since I went to visit her 3 weeks ago she's barely spoken to me, sent messages or done anything in the way of actively being involved in communication in this relationship. Now here's the point where I would like advice: I'm not sure if I should just sit back and wait it out and hope things go back to normal once the holidays are over and once she rebalances after the job loss or if I should just cut ties now because I'm definitely not getting my needs met with a vacant partner. I'm not really sure what to do or how I actually feel but that's why I'm posting to begin with, to have people post their thoughts and gain a bit more insight on how to handle this whole situation.
