My partner and I are in general not very jealous people and like being able to talk freely about people in our lives, including other partners (within their consent!). We like knowing what is going on in each other's life.
His other longer term gf (2 years LDR) seems to be doing pretty badly since my relationship with him got more serious. She's becoming more and more insecure.
I feel really sorry for her because I know hinge is really bad at texting regularly and sometimes takes days to reply to a short text. I cannot imagine how difficult this LDR must be for her. He's trying to improve but it looks like it will take him a long time.
I am trying to brainstorm how I could make this less difficult for her since I seem to he a big reason for her insecurity. Hinge and me are dating locally and he spends a lot more time with me than with her and we share in-person hobbies.
I know this is not my responsibility but I care a lot about my partner and this relationship seems to mean a lot to him.
Any ideas? Nothing involving direct contact because she expressed to him she does not want to get to know me.
EDIT: since I wouldn't be in direct contact with her, my idea of helping her was more about helping via my hinge... Give him advice or more space or anything that might indirectly help his relationship with her. Because I already asked him and nothing came to his mind.
